In 2009, the Methodist Church Music Society formed a new company, Methodist Arts Limited. This new company wished to seek charitable status and broaden its remit from supporting the use of music in churches to that of all artforms.

We were approached to advise on branding.
However, before undertaking any work, we consulted with the client to identify what their real needs were.
The directors responded very positively to our analysis and the brief was expanded to take account of this.
Our first recommendation was to provide the new organisation with a more marketable name. We produced and presented a document outlining the rationale for our proposed new name of ArtServe.
Stage two invoved production of a logo, and stage three produced a branding book and design guidelines, all of which were accepted by the Directors without hesitation.
We also produced a website, which has led to us advising on the staffing and organisational structure of the company.
The company has recently achieved charitable status and will operate around three areas of work: music, performance arts and visual arts.
We are also advising on the development of an accreditation scheme and bookings engine which will be integrated with the website to allow users to book artists with a guarantee of quality control, with scorings and recommendations from previous ‘clients’.
ArtServe is now rapidly gaining momentum and widespread recognition. It is ready to become one of the UK churches’ most high profile charities, providing high quality support services to any church or organsiation wishing to make better use of their worship spaces.
