Kevin McCullough: Master of Business Administration (MBA), BA (Hons) Youth and Community Work.
Kevin has over 20 years of voluntary sector experience. He started out as a community worker in Belfast working on issues of conflict resolution, inner city regeneration and youth empowerment.
Moving to London in 1992 Kevin began working for international development agency Christian Aid. As Head of Schools and Youth, Kevin developed a number of successful educational and fundraising programmes engaging numerous church denominations, voluntary sector and commercial partners.
Kevin has been at the forefront of over 10 high profile campaigns including campaigns on fair trade, landmines, Jubilee 2000 debt cancellation, supermarkets, trade justice, Make Poverty History and Climate Change.
In his role as Global Campaigner – Special Initiatives Kevin has been involved in event management and PR/Media opportunities including the Vicars of Dibley March on No.10 Downing St. and the Trade Justice Vigil in Westminster Abbey as part of Make Poverty History campaign. He also organised the Flames of Justice vigil with faith leaders and Bob Geldof in Edinburgh as part of Live 8 in 2005. Kevin has been involved in organising media trips for journalists and celebrity ambassadors securing national media coverage on a number of issue based campaigns.
In recent years Kevin has been involved in collaborating with documentary film makers, production companies and internationally renowned photographers to communicate issues of global justice. eg. Black Gold (cinema release and More 4) and The Great African Scandal ( Channel 4). “Disposable People – Slave trade to Trade slaves” exhibition with Magnum and Autograph at the South Bank, London.
Kevin has undertaken consultancies in event management and strategic reviews for the United Reformed Church, Council for World Mission and the International Youth Hostel Federation (IYHF). He is also on the Board of Directors of Tipping Point Film Fund and Global Goals.
Kevin is married with three children and a member of Bethnal Green United Reformed Church.
He helps to run a football team for refugees and asylum seekers and for his sins he has supported Leeds United for over 20 years!
